As a licensed tourism entity operating in the Emirate of Dubai, GREAT VALUE IN BOUND TOURISM L.L.C S.O.C is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of digital commerce, consumer rights, and data security as mandated by the government of the United Arab Emirates.
Our digital booking platform and operational procedures are governed by the following core UAE legal frameworks:
I. Consumer Protection We strictly adhere to UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection. As a consumer utilizing our platform, you have the right to:
- Transparency: Receive clear, accurate, and unexaggerated information regarding the prices, itineraries, and inclusions of all tours, safaris, and international packages before booking.
- Fair Transactions: Request a refund or cancellation in accordance with our transparent booking terms if a service cannot be delivered as promised due to operational failures on our end.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through our internal customer service (info@greatvaluetours.com), consumers are protected by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). We are registered with the DET's Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection sector.
II. Personal Data Protection (PDPL) Your privacy is protected under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 regarding the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
- Lawful Processing: We collect and process your personal information (such as name, contact details, and passport information for outbound travel) strictly based on your explicit consent and the necessity to fulfill our contractual travel obligations to you.
- Data Subject Rights: Under the UAE PDPL, you reserve the right to access, correct, restrict the processing of, or request the erasure of your personal data from our systems at any time.
- Cross-Border Transfers: Because we facilitate outbound travel to Sri Lanka, your booking data may be securely transferred to our trusted destination management partners outside the UAE, executed in strict compliance with UAE data transfer regulations.
III. E-Commerce and Electronic Transactions Our automated online booking system operates in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.
- This law legally validates all digital contracts, electronic signatures, and digital tickets/vouchers generated through our platform, giving them the exact same legal weight as traditional paper documents.
IV. Licensing and Regulatory Authority Great Value Tourism operates under the direct regulatory oversight of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
